| Local Health Centers to Receive Funding to Expand Services |

INDIANAPOLIS – Local community health centers will be receiving nearly $1.8 million from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA), Congressman André Carson announced today.
These grants, administered by the Department of Health and Human Services, will enable five local health centers to continue providing health care to thousands of underprivileged
“In this difficult economic climate, families across our city are in desperate need of affordable health care,” Congressman Carson said. “These grant dollars will help our local health centers increase access to high quality, professional health care for families and individuals who need it most.”
