| Carson Lauds Carbon Motors Announcement, Creation of Thousands of Clean-Energy Jobs |

WASHINGTON, D.C.– Congressman André Carson released the following statement after today’s announcement that Carbon Motors will locate its manufacturing operations in Indiana at the shuttered Visteon Plant in Connersville, creating thousands of new, green jobs for Hoosiers across the state.

“As a former law enforcement officer, I know first hand that our brave men and women in uniform are patrolling neighborhoods in vehicles that are not built to effectively protect them.
“Thanks to advancements made by Carbon Motors, law enforcement agencies now have an option for a purpose-built vehicle that will protect our public safety heroes and improve their ability to keep us all safe.
