Carson To Attend Mozel Sanders Thanksgiving Dinner

INDIANAPOLIS - Congressman André Carson will participate in the Mozel Sanders Foundation's 39^th Annual Feed the Hungry program on Butler University's campus.

The dinner is a long-standing Indianapolis tradition that involves volunteers from across the community serving Thanksgiving meals to families in need. Mozel's son, Rev. Roosevelt Sanders, had directed the event until he passed away this past August.

Last year the dinner served about 40,000 people-a 10 percent increase from 2008.
