 CARSON STATEMENT ON THE BEGINNING OF RAMADAN

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Congressman André Carson today released the following statement on the start of Ramadan:

“The month of August is Ramadan, a special time for Muslims to reflect upon God’s many blessings and work to improve the lives of those around us. During Ramadan, we renew our commitment to God, strengthen our faith, and fulfill our responsibilities to our family, friends, and neighbors. Ramadan Kareem."
