employers lining up for Carson job fair

Event will take place Aug. 12th 

INDIANAPOLIS – More than 60 employers with approximately 1,000 available jobs will participate in Congressman André Carson’s Central Indiana Job Fair next week.

The job fair, hosted by Carson in cooperation with Ivy Tech Community College and IUPUI, will be held on Friday, August 12 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the IUPUI Campus Center in downtown Indianapolis.

“Creating new jobs and protecting existing American jobs from being sent overseas has been my number one priority in Congress,” said Congressman Carson. “In addition, I am doing everything I can to connect those who seek work with companies who are currently hiring. Employers are being added daily, which will give attendees an array of options for potential employment.”
