Carson to speak at counterterrorism workshop

Workshop seeks to improve situational awareness, information sharing

INDIANAPOLIS – Congressman André Carson will participate in the opening session of the Indianapolis Joint Counterterrorism Awareness Workshop Series on Wednesday morning.

The workshop, hosted by the Indiana Department of Homeland Security along with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, National Counterterrorism Center, Federal Bureau of Investigation and Department of Justice, will provide a forum for discussing and analyzing city, state, and federal response capabilities to coordinated terrorist assaults against multiple targets in Indianapolis.
