Tour the White House Due to staffing reductions resulting from sequestration, we regret to inform you that White House Tours will be canceled effective Saturday, March 9, 2013 until further notice. Unfortunately, affected tours will not be able to be rescheduled. Due to high demand, the White House currently grants tours to a limited number of guests throughout the year. My staff however will be happy to assist you in making White House tour requests. White House tours are granted on a first come, first served basis. Tours are currently only scheduled on Tuesdays through Saturdays. Tour requests must be made at least 90 days in advance of the requested tour date(s). If you would like to visit during busy tour seasons (i.e. Spring Break), it is highly recommended that you submit tour requests six months in advance of the requested tour date(s). Before your request can be submitted to the White House, you must provide the following security information for everyone in your group. Every visitor, age 15 years or older, will be required to show a photo identification before being admitted. *Please make sure the submitted security information matches the information on each person's photo identification.* Please provide the following information for all visitors wishing to attend your White House tour on the White House Tour Security Form: • Full First Name Please email my tour coordinator, Evan Spanogians, at evan.spanogians@mail.house.gov with the White House Tour Security Form in an attachment. For the person submitting the request, please provide your name, address, phone number, email address, and the date(s) you are requesting for your tour in the email. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call my office at (202) 225-4011. |
