A Report to the Community: End ICE detention at Miami Correctional

Miami Correctional Facility has held Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) detainees since October 1, 2026 and there are wide concerns of severe medical neglect, barriers to legal access, and overall dangerous physical conditions. Two ICE detainees have died at Miami Correctional. Following an oversight visit in April 2026, Congressman Carson has called for a halt to ICE detainees at this facility and continues to engage in oversight activity of the facility.

Join Congressman Carson, ACLU of Indiana, and Indiana Organizing Project for a webinar report to the community on concerns about Miami Correctional Facility, learn of efforts to cease ICE detention, and provide voice to the individuals detained at Miami.
