Project 2025 lets big corporations get away with ripping people off and gives huge tax breaks to CEOs.
In Congress, I’ve been hard at work for you, fighting to lower costs and grow the middle class so that every American has a fair shot at a better future. But if Project 2025 is implemented, extremists have a 900+ page agenda that will crush hardworking American taxpayers.
This one-sided plan gives extreme MAGA politicians unchecked power and then uses that power to reward wealthy billionaires and corporations at the expense of the middle class. In their own words, they will:
-Raise taxes on the average family by as much as $6,000 a year
-Allow corporations to force workers to work more than 40 hours a week and not pay them overtime
-Let insurance companies deny health care to people with pre-existing conditions
-Layoff tens of thousands of teachers and end Head Start
-And, after they do all this, Republicans plan to give billionaires and wealthy corporations massive new tax breaks.
The devastating impacts to the middle class are just one part of the plans Project 2025’s authors have for our country. They will also criminalize abortion nationwide with no exceptions and end Social Security and Medicare as we know it.
We need policies to lower costs and grow the middle class, not tilt the playing field even further towards billionaires and wealthy corporations.
The American people deserve better than Project 2025. I will never stop fighting to protect you from unfair policies and to preserve and strengthen the middle class – so Hoosiers can thrive, not just survive.
Election Day
On Tuesday, November 5, there are 186 locations in Marion County for you to vote – and you can stop by any one of them from 6:00 am – 6:00 pm.
You can find the closest location to you on the way to or from work, school, or your errands. Just visit vote.indy.gov and enter your address to find the best spot.
Voting is a hard-earned right that every citizen should exercise. Make your voice heard – vote!
