The affordability crisis
Next week marks one year since Donald Trump was sworn into office, giving Republicans control of both the White House and Congress.
In the last year, inflation has soared and everyday costs have become even more expensive. Health care. Grocery bills. Housing. Utility bills. Life is simply not affordable.
This is a direct result of extreme Republican policies, including:
- Chaotic tariff policies that have created uncertainty and confusion
- Freezing or cutting funding for federal infrastructure projects, jeopardizing millions of jobs
- Eliminating clean-energy tax incentives that saved Hoosiers money on their electric bills
- Denying minimum wages to 2 million in-home health care workers and reducing the minimum wage for nearly 400,000 federal contractors
I want to hear from you:
Have you seen your costs go up? What costs have you seen go up?
