Here's why gas prices are up.

In just the last few weeks, gas prices have skyrocketed because of Trump’s war with Iran.

Americans don’t want another endless foreign war that makes life even more unaffordable. Here’s how oil prices have increased just in the last month:

That’s on top of Trump’s other destructive policies that have caused healthcare costs and utility costs to increase, plus his chaotic tariffs that have impacted the price of everyday goods.

Americans are hurting. The last thing we need is another endless foreign war.

My thoughts are with the family of Captain Seth Koval, a Hoosier service member who lost his life in the line of duty in Iran, as well as the at least 12 other members of our military who have already lost their lives.

Last week, I pressed Trump administration officials in the House Intelligence Committee’s Annual World Threat Assessment Hearing on whether Iran had imminent plans to attack the U.S. They failed to answer and they failed to show proof that there was any immediate threat that justified dragging us into another war. I will continue to hold this administration accountable. I also cosponsored a War Powers Resolution to limit the president’s power to send armed troops abroad without Congressional approval.

The American people are hurting. Congress has a constitutional right to this information, and the American people have a right to know how their tax dollars are being spent. I’m fighting to protect your tax dollars, our brave service members, and to ensure Americans can afford the cost of everyday goods.

I want to hear from you:

Do you support Trump's war in Iran?
