Job and Resource Fair TOMORROW
My annual Job and Resource Fair is here! Join us Wednesday, August 12, from 10am to 2pm at the Ivy Tech Culinary and Conference Center.
Finding a first-time job or a better job can be difficult. That’s why I’m making it easier, with over 80 vendors available with on-the-spot hiring, resume help, and expungement assistance.
We’re in an affordability crisis. In Indiana, the average family is paying $3,300 more a year for basic living expenses, according to Budget Committee Democrats. I’m fighting to undo the damage this administration's policies have done while expanding opportunities right now for Hoosiers.
My event is FREE and no pre-registration is required, but consider the following tips before you go:
- Bring several copies of an up-to-date resume, as some employers will be ready to hire on the spot.
- Practice a brief elevator pitch in which to introduce yourself and present your resume.
- Dress for success.
- Research organizations that you are interested in meeting. You can find a list of vendors here.
