Carson announces summer servings effort to fight child hunger
Mayor, Child Hunger Initiative representatives will join in unveiling of program
INDIANAPOLIS – Congressman André Carson, Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard and representatives from the Child Hunger Initiative will announce Summer Servings, a community-wide effort to promote the Summer Food Service Program to fight child hunger in the Indianapolis area by providing free meals to youth ages 18 and under at 230 sites across Marion County.
