Congressman André Carson Announces Nominees for United States Service Academies
INDIANAPOLIS—Today, Congressman André Carson (IN-07) announced his nominations for U.S. Service Academy appointments. Their names have been submitted for consideration as members for the academy classes entering in 2024.
Each U.S. Representative and Senator may have five cadets at each of the four Service Academies (Naval, Air Force, Military and Merchant Marine) at any one time. A nomination does not guarantee admission to a Service Academy but is required to be considered. A select group was interviewed by an advisory board chosen by Congressman Carson.
“These individuals have dedicated themselves to service at a young age,” said Congressman Carson. “I am proud to recommend this diverse group of Hoosiers and prepare them for meaningful careers, long-lasting careers that will make our country and our world a better place.”
