Congressman Carson Announces Website Photo Contest
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman André Carson is inviting residents and visitors to capture the beauty and uniqueness of Indianapolis by taking part in an online photo contest. Winners will have their submitted photo featured on Congressman Carson's permanent website for the remainder of the year.
HOW TO ENTER
Entries must be sent to indyphoto@mail.house.gov by 6 p.m. on August 1. An entry email must include the contestant's name, email address, and where the photo was taken. Entries should also include the date the photo was taken and a brief photo caption. Higher resolution photos are preferred.
After the deadline photos will be posted on Congressman Carson's official Facebook page. The photo with the most Facebook ‘likes', will be winner.
GUIDELINES
Any resident or visitor to the Seventh Congressional District of Indiana may submit photos. All photos must be original and taken in the Seventh Congressional District (for a map, please visit /our-district). If the photo contains an image of a person, you must obtain that person's permission to have the photo published. By entering this contest, you also agree that the photo may be published royalty free in any communication by Congressman Carson's office. Congressman Carson's office reserves the right to reject entries that are offensive, in poor taste, inappropriate for public display or do not meet eligibility criteria.
