Congressman Carson, Indianapolis School Children to Deliver Valentines to Veterans

INDIANAPOLIS - Tomorrow, students from two local schools will join Congressman Carson to deliver Valentines to veterans at the Indianapolis VA medical center.
The Valentines being handed out will be created by students from eight local schools including, IPS Schools # 94, 48, and 44; Emma Donna Elementary School; Andrew J. Brown Charter School; Lynhurst Elementary School and Building Blocks Academy School. Students from Building Blocks Academy and Lynhurst 7th & 8th Grade Center will accompany the Congressman to deliver the Valentines to local veterans.
The Valentines for Veterans initiative was started under the late Congresswoman Julia Carson. Tomorrow's event will be the 13th year for the program designed to honor our veterans and lift their sprits around the Valentine's Day holiday.
