“Republicans’ funding bill betrays American veterans, seniors, and families. It cuts healthcare — including veterans’ healthcare — and affordable housing, and fails to protect Social Security, Medicare, and Medicaid. These programs are lifelines to millions of people across the country. 
 

“Last week, DOGE terminated funding for the Fair Housing Center of Central Indiana. The Trump-Musk administration has made it clear that they want to make billionaires even richer at the expense of everyday Americans. 

 

“The president promised to lower costs ‘on day one.’ So why is he making life more expensive? The cost of everyday items is already accelerating. This is the last thing Americans need.”
