WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman André Carson announced that he has secured $200,000 in federal funds for a job training and small business program at the John H. Boner Community Center in Indianapolis, Indiana. This $200,000 allowance for the John H. Boner Community Center was secured in the FY 2009 House Financial Services Appropriations bill.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman André Carson announced that he was able to secure $500,000 in the House Commerce, Justice and Science Appropriations bill for the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department (IMPD). The funding will be used to install laptops and broadband technology in the cars of IMPD officers.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Congressman André Carson disclosed that he requested and secured federal funding for the Indianapolis North Flood Control Damage Reduction Project. The $5,300,000 in funding for the project was in the House Energy and Water Appropriations Bill. The funding will be used to finish a floodwall in the flood prone area of northern Indianapolis.
