Mr. Chairman, I am pleased to speak in support of my bill, H.R. 4851, the Kennedy-King Establishment Act of 2018.

I'd also like to thank my colleagues on the Natural Resources Committee for their prompt consideration of this bill, including Chairman Bishop and Ranking Member Grijalva.

Intelligence Authorization Act Floor Speech

• Mr. Speaker, as a Member of the House Intelligence Committee, I am proud of the bipartisanship that allowed us to put this bill together.

• Our committee, which normally operates quietly, has gotten more attention than normal this year as we conduct the critical business of investigating Russian intervention in our elections.

Congressman Carson, Mr. Speaker, I stand today to congratulate Friendship Missionary Baptist Church on 100 years of service and dedication to the Indianapolis community. I want to extend my gratitude to Pastor Ronald Covington and First Lady Kim Covington for their commitment to this community.

Mr. Speaker— I rise to recognize tomorrow, and each Friday before Memorial Day, as National Poppy Day.

National Poppy Day encourages all Americans to wear a red poppy flower as a symbol to remember the fallen and support the living heroes who have worn our nation's uniform.

Following World War I, the red poppy became an internationally recognized symbol of the blood shed by those who fought for their countries.

Although it originated almost a century ago, the poppy is just as relevant today.

Good morning, and welcome to our hearing.

Mr. Carson: Mr. Speaker, I yield myself such time as I may consume.

I support this bill, as amended, which directs the General Services Administration (GSA) to install baby changing stations in restrooms in public buildings across the Nation. I’d also like to commend my colleague, the gentleman from Rhode Island (Mr. Cicilline), for his leadership on this issue, and for his willingness to work with me to bring this bill to the Floor today.
