Washington, DC - Today, the U.S. House of Representatives passed Congressman André Carson's Kennedy-King Establishment Act (H.R. 4851). This bill designates Martin Luther King Park in Indianapolis as a National Commemorative Site, and adds it to the new National Civil Rights Network, preserving it for generations to come. The bill passed the House by a vote of 391 to 0 and now moves to the Senate for consideration.
