INDIANAPOLIS - Congressman André Carson, Indianapolis Mayor Greg Ballard and Central Indiana Community Foundation President Brian Payne today announced The Indianapolis Cultural Trail: A Legacy of Gene & Marilyn Glick has been awarded $20.5 million from the U.S. Department of Transportation. WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman André Carson issued the following statement in response to reports showing that the national unemployment rate has dropped below 10 percent. According to January unemployment numbers, the jobless rate stands at 9.7 percent-the lowest Americans have seen since August 2009.
