WASHINGTON, DC — U.S. Congressman André Carson (IN-07) will hold a Twitter Town Hall meeting tomorrow, September 10, 2015 to discuss his ongoing work in Washington and Indianapolis. This 30 minute town hall comes at a time when Congress is set to vote on a number of big ticket items, including the Iran Deal and government funding.

Anyone interested in joining the Twitter Town Hall meeting can participate by tweeting @RepAndreCarson using the hashtag #AskCarson. Members of the media are also encouraged to participate.

INDIANAPOLIS - This Tuesday, September 1, Congressman André Carson in cooperation with Purdue Extension Marion County, will hold a Financial Literacy workshop to highlight the importance of money management.

The event will feature a financial literacy coach who will focus on credit building, smart spending habits and fraud protection.

Indianapolis, IN This afternoon, Congressman André Carson (IN-07) wrapped up his sixth and largest job fair at Ivy Tech Corporate College and Culinary Center. With the help of Ivy Tech Community College, over 1200 Hoosiers seeking jobs were able to meet with 138 employers from across Central Indiana.

"Today's job fair was a huge success," said Carson. "Connecting folks in our community with local businesses looking to hire is key to developing Indianapolis and our local economy."

INDIANAPOLIS, IN – Today, Congressman Carson released the following statement to express his support for the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), an agreement between the P5+1 and Iran aimed at preventing Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon.

Indianapolis, IN – This Wednesday, August 5, Congressman André Carson (IN-07) in cooperation with Ivy Tech Community College will host a job fair in Indianapolis.

The fair will feature over 125 employers and 3,000 open positions.

Congressman Carson has made the Central Indiana Job Fair an annual event as part of his efforts to serve Indianapolis.

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Congressman André Carson, (IN-07) issued the following statement in response to the Supreme Court's ruling in King v. Burwell:

"Today, the Supreme Court of the United States reaffirmed that the American people still have the right to access quality, affordable health insurance. Since its implementation, our nation's health law has expanded health coverage to 16.4 million Americans who were previously uninsured, regardless of where in the country they live or the size of their paycheck.
