You may have heard. Indiana is the latest state set to be targeted by redistricting – Donald Trump’s attempt to change the way you’re represented in Congress.

Redistricting happens every ten years after the census so congressional districts reflect the people who live in our community. Donald Trump wants Indiana to redistrict five years early. He wants to bend the rules in a way no one has done before so he can amass more power in Congress.

Hoosier families are being hit with skyrocketing energy bills. 

For years, our statehouse has passed bills that help utility companies and hurt hardworking Hoosiers – as we already face rising costs for housing, healthcare and other bills. 

I wanted to give you a few updates on what’s happening in Congress. As your representative, I’m always working to keep our neighborhoods safe — especially for our children. That’s why I’ve introduced the Gun Safety Incentive Act, a commonsense step toward preventing accidental shootings and keeping firearms out of the wrong hands.
