Carson: Key Patient's Right Begin to Take Effect
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Six months after the Affordable Care Act was signed into law, several key patient rights and protections are set to go into effect, Congressman Carson announced today. These changes seek to stop the decades of abuse that Americans faced from health insurance companies.

Carson Statement on Super Bowl Housing Legacy Project
WASHINGTON, D.C. - Congressman André Carson issued the following statement on today's event highlighting the 32 residences that will become homes for homeless families as part of the 2012 Super Bowl Housing Legacy Project on Indianapolis' near eastside.
Nearly $3 million for the project came from the $29 million in Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP) funds that Congressman Carson secured for the City of Indianapolis in 2008.

INDIANAPOLIS - Today, Congressman André Carson released the following statement upon news that Indiana will be receiving $207 million to protect teaching jobs across the state. The funds are being allocated as a part of the Education Jobs and Medicaid Assistance Act, which Congressman Carson voted to pass in early August.
