Friend,
Most Americans are aware: if you owe money, you need to pay it.
Unfortunately, Republicans are currently pushing the United States towards a default by threatening not to pay our bills without severe cuts to lifesaving, essential programs. If they are successful, the results would be devastating for everyday Americans.
Friend,
I can’t believe I’m saying it, again. Our country has experienced yet another school shooting.
As a parent, I know the fear of sending your child off to school, especially in the aftermath of another senseless school shooting.
Instead of improving school safety, last week, Republicans passed an extreme, dangerous bill targeting our nation’s students, families, and educators, disguised as “parental rights,” that has no chance of passing the Senate.
Dear Friend,
With spring just around the corner, many young people and families are looking for camps, jobs, and other positive opportunities once school is out. Our community is fortunate to have many great resources that enrich our kids' lives. But the task of identifying those resources and finding the right fit can feel overwhelming.
